Rocket over Russia in a MiG-29

Our MiG-29 does an incredible impersonation of theRocket Over Russia in a MiG-29! space shuttle.  The legendary fighter climbs to launch altitude then rockets vertical toward space.  Once the MiG-29 reaches its maximum allowed altitude, the pilot returns to earth, performing a perfect 19-degree (nose up) space-shuttle style landing.

Add the space shuttle flight maneuvers to any MiG-29 flying adventure at no additional cost.  An incredible five day, four night MiG-29 adventure is $11,845 and includes luxury hotel accommodations, a cockpit video, VIP airport transfers and guided tour.  (Airfare to Moscow is not included.)

Why not make it a true space adventure? Add a day of cosmonaut training at Star City and the price is $14,795.  Contact Greg for available dates and other package options.

IA President Talks to Rocket Scientists

What was the president of Incredible Adventures doing in a room full of NASA, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Orbitec, Air Force and XCOR employees? Talking space tourism, of course! Jane Reifert was invited to speak at the 40th American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Jet Propulsion Conference, held July 11-14 in Ft Lauderdale, FL.  Jane is an advisor to the AIAA's Space Colonization and Technical Committee.

"We'll definitely be offering suborbital flights to our customers in the near future. I spent a lot of time with the guys developing suborbital planes. The progress they're making is incredible. If anyone is interested in suborbital flights, they should let us know now. We don't think it's fair to take deposits until a little more progress has been made, but we'll definitely take names of those wanting to be first in line." - Jane Reifert

Bring Your Cameras but No Bananas

Shark Diving in the FarallonsCameras are welcome aboard the Superfish, our great white shark boat in San Francisco, but bananas are not.  Bring some for your breakfast and you'll be forced to leave them on the dock.  Something about the tropical fruit seems to keep the sharks away. While no scientific studies have been performed, we can tell you this...since the banana ban, our shark viewing success in the Farallons has been 100%.

This year's one-day dives to the Farallons are selling quickly. Dive season is September through November and cage dives are $775. Top-side viewing is just $375.  Email us for more information.

TV Note:  Shark Week Starts on The Discovery Channel This Sunday.

Tune in to watch a lot of great shark programs.  For a complete schedule of shows, visit their website.

MiG-21 Retires, MiG-23 Takes Over

MiG-21 flights are no longer available at Zhukovsky Air Base in Russia. The jet often refered to as "a test pilot's first love" has been retired. The much newer MiG-23 has taken its place on the flight line and is quickly proving popular. The MiG-23 is best known for its variable geometry wings. (In simple English, that means the wings can change position.) A single flight in the MiG-23 is currently $6250.
