Make a Date with a
Great White
There's only one place in the
US  where
you can cage dive among some of the biggest great white sharks on the
planet. Join us for an expedition to
the Farallon Islands, located about 25 miles off the coast of San
Francisco. The marine sanctuary is a favorite hangout of elephant seals
and the giant great white sharks that prey on them.
Shark season begins September

IA President to Speak
at Space Conference
 Incredible
Adventures president Jane Reifert is co-chairing a session on Space
Tourism at an upcoming space conference in Albuquerque. Incredible Adventures
is a marketing consultant to several of the companies developing suborbital
space planes. Incredible Adventures is now taking advance reservations
for flights to be offered by Rocketplane, Ltd. The company's flight
operations are set to begin in late 2007 and will be based in Oklahoma.

Rocket Across the Water
in an Offshore Powerboat
A group of medical equipment salespeople
recently learned just how much fun it is to drive an offshore powerboat.
The group booked a custom Offshore
Rockets adventure that included lots of time on the water along
with an island BBQ and time on jet skis. Offshore Rockets adventures

Diary of an Adventure Goddess
(Jane Goes to Hollywood)

January 12th: It's
9:30 am and I'm sitting on the black leather couch in Dave's lobby.
Dave is the chief pilot for our Hollywood
Top Gun program. He's running a few minutes late for our scheduled
meeting. I imagine he's on the phone closing another movie deal.
I'm happy to wait. It gives me time to read all the inscriptions
on the little statues that fill his lobby. I knew Dave was an
award winning movie guy, but I didn't know he'd won THAT many
honors.
9:40-ish: Dave
calls me in to his office. I utter a "wow". His assistant thinks
I'm referring to the incredible view of Los Angeles from his 22nd
floor window, but I'm in awe of the large wooden replica of his
L-39 that is suspended from his office ceiling. In a few minutes,
we are joined by Skip, another Hollywood Top Gun pilot. Skip reminds
me of Tom Skerritt in his Top Gun role. The guy LOOKS like the
fighter pilot and test pilot he is. (Later, I got to watch Skip
fly. He's incredible.)
11:00-ish: We
finish our meetings and head to the airport. That's when I see
her. Wild Child. Quite possibly the most beautiful L-39 on the
planet. Dave explains to me how the jet is equipped with three
special cameras that have been designed to withstand high-g forces.
I can't help but notice the editing equipment in his hangar office.
These guys don't mess around. It's easy to see why they were chosen
to perform aerial sequences for the movie "Jarhead" and why they're
currently in the middle of filming another movie.
1:00-ish: I find myself
in the cockpit of an L-39 behind Dave, recreating a scene right
out of Top Gun. It was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible
adventures of my life. And remember, I've been on a lot of adventures.
