HALO Season is Just
Around the Corner
 May
marks the official beginning of HALO jump season in Memphis. Jump from a perfectly
good airplane from almost 30,000 feet high. HALO stands for High Altitude,
Low Open. It's a special type of skydiving most often done by the military's
elite special forces. By jumping out high and opening chutes low, invading
troops can avoid advance detection by the enemy. There's only one place
in the world where you can perform a tandem HALO jump and that's Memphis,
TN. (Except during one week in July, when our jump team will be offering
tandem HALO jumps at the World Freefall Convention in Illinois.) No

Bahamas Adventure

It can't be much fun being
a sardine. Imagine trying to make the long journey from
your summer home to your winter home while being chased by
a bunch of hungry sharks, dolphins and birds. Each
year, thousands of sardines migrate along South Africa's eastern
coastline, setting off a feeding frenzy in the water. The
event that's become known as The Sardine
