Are You Space Worthy?

Train for space travelYou run five miles a day. You're at the gym more than the curly-haired kid that sits behind the front desk. You eat your fruits and vegetables. You may think you could easily handle the physical and psychological demands of a flight to space, but would you bet $250,000 on it?

While our newest space adventure won't officially qualify you for a suborbital space flight, it will give you a pretty good idea if you have the right stuff for space.  Using the same sophisticated simulators used to train astronauts and fighter pilots, we'll test your senses (and your stomach) in ways you never imagined. We've found a way to deliver a suborbital flight experience that doesn't require you to leave the atmosphere...or even the building.

Incredible Adventures is teaming up with the National Aerospace Training & Research (NASTAR) Center in Pennsylvania to offer an intense two-day introduction to space flight. You'll receive detailed classroom briefings and centrifuge and altitude chamber training before completing a simulated suborbital flight. Think of this adventure as a "suborbital flight with training wheels" or "Disney's Mission Space on steroids".

The introductory price of this two-day Space on Earth adventure is $4950 + lodging and airfare. Our first program for individuals takes place October 13th & 14th. Groups of six or more can pick their own dates.

This adventure is so new, it's not yet on our website. For more information, you need to give us a call at 800-644-7382 or send us an email.

See the DC-3 at Sun 'N Fun

Incredible DC-3 This just in! Pilot Dan Gryder and his incredible DC-3 will be appearing at this year's Sun 'N Fun Fly-In in Lakeland, Florida, April 17th - April 23rd.  The city of Lakeland has been hosting the annual air show and aviation convention for over 33 years.  If you're a pilot and would like to fly the DC-3 during Sun 'N Fun, give us a call or drop us an email.  For more information about this classic plane, visit our website. For more information about Sun 'N Fun itself, visit www.sun-n-fun.org.

What Our Friends & Partners Are Up To..

Hollywood Top Gun pilots Dave Riggs and Skip Holm are heading off to Jamaica soon to film initial aerial scenes for the movie "Fast Glass". The last movie they did featuring the L-39s, "Succubus Hellbent" will be available on DVD April 10th.  SpecOps head guy Myke Hawke just gets more famous every day. He recently appeared on the popular British show "Castaway". It seems that TV people know who to call when they need an expert in survival stuff. Tim Taylor, our expert when it comes to things in and under the water, was the featured speaker at a recent Explorer's Club event in New York.

Celebrate Yuri's Night April 12

Yuri's Night April 12 Each year on April 12th, people around the world gather together to remember an incredible day in space history. It was on April 12, 1961, that Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space. And it was on April 12, 1981 that the US launched its first Space Shuttle.

The originators of the unoffical space holiday describe Yuri's Night as "St Patrick's Day and Cinco de Mayo for space". (Makes you think a few people spike their Tang, doesn't it?) Visit the Yuri's Night website for party ideas, party locations, party music and more.

And The Record Holder Is...

Fly a MiG-29In April, Andrew will return to Russia to fly a MiG. Although it'll be his first time flying with the pilots of Sokol, it'll be his 14th time flying MiGs with Incredible Adventures. That's right. He liked flying a MiG so much the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelth and thirteenth time that he's going back again. Although it might be tough to break Andrew's record, don't let it stop you from trying. Call or email Greg to find out how you can fly a MiG over Russia.

They're Armed and They've Taken Over the Hospital

Tactical training adventures

A group of highly-trained military and law enforcement veterans have taken over a small-town hospital and converted it into one of the country's premier tactical training facilities. Fortunately, they like us. That's why they're making a limited number of programs available exclusively to Incredible Adventures customers. (No felons, please.)  The fun with guns takes place a couple of hours from Pittsburgh. For info, call or email us today.
