If you called about booking a Farallones white shark adventure and were
told the weekend you wanted was "sold out", please give us
another call. We may have space for you now. We just added several trip
dates to our schedule to help meet record demand for cage dives this
year.
As a reminder, IA's white
shark expeditions depart from San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf,
beginning in late September and continuing on select dates through mid-November.
The cost to cage dive is $875 and includes the use of a hooded wetsuit,
gloves and boots. No dive experience is required. Topside observers
pay $375.
For a list of the dates that are still available, please contact us by email or call 800-644-7382.
We now offer dragster
racing in Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona,
California and Nevada. A variety of programs are available. You
can even become a licensed dragster driver. Pricing ranges from under
$500 to $2000 or more.
Prefer driving on two wheels? Ask us about our new dirtbike adventure
near Toronto. Tackle the terrain in Canada's Gannaraska Forest. Single
day and multi-day custom dirtbike adventures are dirt cheap. Call
for details.
If you're really a speed freak, plan your trip to Florida to drive
an open wheel car. (That's car-speak for a Formula vehicle.) A full-day
adventure is just $1295. Half-day and corporate programs are also
available.
Speaking of corporate programs.... For the ultimate VIP getaway, consider
an ice driving adventure in Finland.
Find information on rally driving, tank driving, ATV driving and more
on IA's
website. We may be best known for our flying adventures, but we
offer a lot of fun on the ground too!
IA President Jane Reifert will be heading off to SPACE soon, an AIAA
Conference in Anaheim, California. Jane co-chairs a Space
Tourism Sub-Committee for the prestigious American Institute of Aeronautics
and Astronautics.
She'll be co-hosting a panel on Space Tourism at the September event
with Ken Davidian from the FAA's
Commercial Space Office. They'll be sharing a stage with representatives
from Bigelow Aerospace
and Orbital Outfitters.
Bigelow Aerospace is developing technology for a commercial space station
that could be used to build a space hotel. Orbital Outfitters is developing
affordable space suits for the commercial market.
Why are we telling you this? So you'll know that Incredible Adventures
is tuned in to the latest developments in civilian space travel and
the company to call if you're looking for a space
adventure.
We're currently taking reservations
for high altitude flights aboard XCOR Aerospace's
rocket-powered Lynx and selling suborbital flight training featuring
the legendary F-104 Starfighter.
We offer zero-gravity
adventures in the US and Russia and hands-on
space training at Russia's Yuri Gagarin Astronaut Training Center.
And, for 17 years now, we've been offering flights to the edge
of space in Russian MiGs.
We offer two flight options in the MiG-29, but we
might as well just offer one. This year, every single IA customer
has chosen our MiG-29
edge of space package. Even though it's cheaper to choose a lower
altitude aerobatic program, everyone wants to fly high this year.
We've had so many requests for information from Brazil this year that
we've come out with an ad in Portuguese. Don't let the Brazilians
have all the fun. Schedule a Hollywood
Top Gun Adventure in California. For details, call 800-644-7382.

Make
the ultimate high altitude skydive! We're still taking reservations
for October Everest Skydive
dates. Join Wendy Smith and her team in Nepal for a jump
you'll never forget.
No skydiving experience is necessary. Both solo and tandem jump
programs are offered. The cost of the jump is set in British
pounds, so it varies with the exchange rate. Last time we checked,
solo programs were $23,000 US and tandem programs were $32,000.
For current pricing, contact
Incredible Adventures.
If you'd like to make an incredible
skydive, but a journey to Nepal is out of the question, consider
a HALO jump near Memphis, TN.
In the military, HALO jumps are performed to avoid detection by
the enemy. Troops exit the aircraft at a very high altitude and
open their chutes low, so by the time the enemy sees them coming,
it's too late. Our tandem HALO jumps are similar, except
there's no one on the ground shooting at you. We jump from approximately
30,000 feet and open low, giving you twice the amount of freefall
as a traditional skydive. The cost is $3495 and no skydiving experience
is necessary.

If you've tuned in to watch Man,
Woman, Wild on TV's Discovery Channel, you've seen our
very own Mykel Hawke and his wife Ruth give new
meaning to the phrase "cooking out." Hawke is
a Green Beret and survival expert and is shown each week teaching
Ruth how to survive in the wild. Each week's episode shows the
couple stranded in a new location and the challenges they face
obtaining the four essentials of survival....food, water, shelter
and fire.
The show airs in the US Friday nights at 9 pm EST and is rebroadcast
multiple times throughout the week. You can see video clips from
the show on Discovery's
website.
If you'd like Hawke or another member of our Specops team to
teach you how to survive
off the land, give us a call. Private and group survival courses
are available in a variety of locations.
