 We
don't encourage waiting for a big birthday to fly
a MiG-29, (you should never put off flying a MiG!) but if you do,
you're guaranteed to have a birthday you'll never forget. Here's a bit
of how Dave described his birthday flight to a reporter:
"We cruised out 165 km from the
airbase before turning back and making our supersonic run - at Mach
1.9 we went vertical with afterburners blazing!"
"We topped out at 20.5 km - above
us was the darkness of space and you could distinctly see the Earth's
curvature".

Elmer celebrated his 90th birthday by driving an excavator. His Hard

Violet is going diving with great

puts on a wetsuit and climbs into IA's shark cage.

 In October,
American folksinger and songwriter Willy
Mason will be making his way up the side of a mountain with
our friend Oz Bayldon from Music4children.
The two will be among those performing The
World's Highest Gig to raise money for an orphanage in Nepal.
Willy Mason's sound has been compared to Bob Dylan and Johnny
Cash. The young folksinger from Martha's Vineyard has opened for
several well-known artists, including Radiohead and Nora Jones.
He's currently on tour in the UK, where he's been recording a
new album.

 If
you can snorkel, you can shark dive. IA's shark
adventures feature the use of shark
cages and surface supplied air, so there's no need to be a
certified diver to dive with big sharks.
When you're in one of our floating shark cages, your head is
just beneath the surface of the water.  You
breathe through a regulator connected to a hookah system or air
tank up above. A dive instructor keeps a watchful eye over you
the entire time you're in the water and is there to help if at
any time you feel uncomfortable.
Incredible Adventures offers one day dive adventures with tiger
sharks in the Bahamas and great
white sharks in San Francisco. Cage dives are $875 and topside
trips are $375.
