Celebrate Yuri's Night April 12th
April 12th
marks a big day in space history. On April 12th, forty-five years ago, Russian Yuri Gagarin became the
first man in space. On the
same day, twenty-five years later, the United States launched the very
first space shuttle into orbit.
Each year, this historic date in space is commemorated
with "Yuri's Night" celebrations
held around the planet. Already this year, 72 parties are planned
in 28 countries. Events range from gala affairs to a few friends
having dinner under the stars.
For more info on Yuri's Night festivities, great space music downloads
and more, visit the Yuri's Night website. Yuri's
Night is the creation of two good friends of ours, zero-gravity
flight coaches Loretta Hidalgo and George Whitesides.
NASA's Kennedy Space Center Welcomes Zero-G
Join
us Saturday, June 24th, for a very special zero-gravity
adventure. The date marks the first time our specially-modified Boeing
727 "weightless plane" will lift off from Florida's Kennedy
Space Center. Our US zero-gravity flights will depart
from the same runway used by the Space Shuttle. For more information,
email
or call 800-644-7382.

You
never know where you might find an incredible adventure. We just found
one in our own backyard. (Or is it front yard?) Our newest flying
adventure begins just 30 minutes north of our Sarasota office.
Learn to fly an ultralight trike
as you soar along Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast. Intro flight
packages start at just $200 and are available April through July. For
more information, give us a call at 800-644-7382 or visit our website.
Sea Ops: An Incredible New Maritime
Adventure
Learn to drive a boat
built for battle. Our new Seaops adventure takes place near Boston.
Spend an action-packed day navigating rough waters in a high-powered
military-issue Zodiac. (Watch out for that whale!) There's boating...and
there's Sea Ops. Discover
the difference. The cost is $5500 for up to five people. Visit
our website or email for more
info.
Sharks in San Francisco
"We're
going to need a bigger boat." Scratch that. We got one last year and
she's a beauty. Our great white shark boat in San Francisco can easily
accommodate 16 cage divers and up to 10 topsiders. Shark season in San
Francisco's Farallon Islands is September to November. That's when adult
great whites up to 20 ft long travel to the islands to dine on
the area's elephant seal population. Cage dives are $875 and topside
adventures are $375. No dive experience is necessary. For more
information on our great white shark adventures, visit cagediver.com
or email Sheri.
Sharks in Mexico
For a longer, live-aboard adventure, consider a five
day journey to Isla Guadalupe,
Mexico. Trips depart in September, October and November and the
cost is $2650 per person.
Sharks in the Bahamas
Cage dive with some very big
tiger sharks, lemon sharks and reef sharks in the amazing waters of
the Bahamas. If
there's anyplace "sharkier" than the Bahamas, we haven't found it. We're
now booking cage dive adventures for August, February and March. For
details, contact us.
Starring My Dad, The
Fighter Pilot
Let
our ace production team shoot a movie of your dad flying an incredible
L-39 jet fighter. A flight over LA, captured on high-quality video and edited
into a short movie by award-winning filmmakers, would make an
incredible Father's Day gift. (You can even take Mom and Sis along
and make it a family production.) Call 800-644-7382 for details. Read
more about our Hollywood Top Gun program here.
Return to Sender
First we stick the big labels.
Then we stick the small labels. Then we stick the stamps. Sometimes
we even compete to see who can stick stuff the fastest. We do it
all so we can get a postcard with our latest news into your hands, for
posting on your bulletin board or refrigerator door. We really hate
it when postcards boomerang back to our office. Please
don't forget to tell us when you move. That way you just might
find a great picture of a MiG in your mailbox next to that phone bill.
Our Email Policy
If you've received this email,
it's because once upon a time, you requested our information. If you'd
rather not get our stuff, simply follow the instructions at the bottom
of this newsletter to remove yourself from our list. (Sending us a nasty
email telling us to go away has been known to work too, but we like
the first option better.) If you do like getting this newsletter, please
do whatever is necessary to keep your email service from tossing us
in a spam box.
