If you're a licensed pilot, you now have two great options for fighter jet training in Texas. For $4950, you can complete two 60-minute training flights in an Italian Marchetti S-211, or you can share your training program with a friend and experience two-jet formation flying. Instruction takes place at a municipal airport roughly 30 minutes from Dallas/Ft. Worth International (DFW). Additional jet flight options are available.
The Marchetti S-211 isn't the only high-performance aircraft available in Texas. In nearby Arlington, both pilots and non-pilots can experience high-g aerobatics in an Extra 300L, a propeller aircraft with jet-like performance. No maneuver is off-limits in the popular air show performer designed to withstand more than 10 g's. Flights are available Mondays and Fridays by appointment and start at $997.

Dive the Farallones and See More Than Sharks
Great white shark diving season in San Francisco continues through mid-November. Join us on a scheduled trip or arrange a private charter and experience a day at the Farallones surrounded by nature. Trips depart from Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in San Francisco's East Bay and comply with local COVID guidelines.
San Francisco's Farallon Islands are located over 25 miles off the coast of California and are part of the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary. Each year, large adult white sharks migrate to the area to feed on the local seal population.
The Farallones are known for much more than sharks. The islands are home to a massive seabird colony. Audubon estimates there are more than 256,000 seabirds on the islands, representing at least 12 different species. Whales can also be spotted. On a recent trip to the islands, IA's shark boat encountered a large pod of whales breaching. (A crew member counted 15 whales!)
The cost to cage dive is $825 per person and includes the use of a wetsuit. No prior dive experience is required. Each trip to the Farallones is staffed with a wildlife naturalist and a dive professional, who provides any necessary dive instruction.
This year, trip capacity is limited to provide space for distancing. That means bonus cage time for shark divers!
