Hotels |
Our standard MiG-flying adventure includes a stay at two great
hotels and three guided tours. If you would prefer to make your
own hotel and tour arrangements, please contact your Incredible
Adventures representative. |
The Metropol Hotel in Moscow
Incredible Adventures customers stay at the historic Metropol
Hotel while in Moscow. The Metropol is conveniently located near
Red Square and is just across the street from the famous Bolshoi
Theatre. Built between 1898 and 1903, the Metropol appears in several
scenes of the classic movie "Dr Zhivago". |
The Alexandrovsky Garden Hotel in Nizhny Novgorod
Jet flyers will typically spend one or more nights in the
town of Nizhny Novgorod, where the Sokol airbase is located. Our
favorite hotel in Nizhny is the Alexandre Garden hotel, a small
boutique hotel conveniently located in the city's downtown, on
the hill above the Volga River. Built in 2004, the hotel has everything,
including an eight-lane bowling alley. If rooms are unavailable
at this hotel, guests will stay in the equally-incredible Nikola
House or Volna hotels. |
Tours |
Each standard MiG adventure includes two guided tours in Moscow
and one guided tour in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. Our designated
hotels are in good areas that make exploring on your own easy,
but we believe having someone with you who knows the city and
speaks the local language can help you to get the most out of
your Russian adventure. |

The Moscow Walking/Metro Tour |
One of our excellent guides will escort you to either the famous Ismailova Market or to Old Arbat Street for a day of sightseeing
and souvenir shopping. You'll get there by walking and riding Moscow's
unique subway system. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided
for you. It's just you and our guide, so you help dictate how and
where your time is spent.

The Moscow Driving Tour or Monino Air Museum Tour |
Your Incredible Adventures guide will ask you to make a choice
prior to arriving in Moscow. You can elect to spend this tour
time exploring the city and seeing sights like the Kremlin and Pushkin Museum with our guide, or you can elect to visit Monino,
the famous air museum. The Monino Air Museum features more than
170 different aircraft. No matter what you decide, our guide will
make sure you don't go hungry.
|
The Nizhny Novgorod Tour |
Nizhny Novgorod is Russia's third largest city and is situated
at the intersection of the Volga and Oka Rivers. Most of our customers
will enjoy a guided tour of the city on the day following their
jet flight at Sokol that includes a visit to the 17th Century Christmas
Church, Annunciation Convent and Nizhny Novgorod's Kremlin. Lunch
in a local restaurant is included. The actual scheduling of this
tour can vary according to the chosen flight program.
|
The Nizhny Novgorod Bonus Tour |
The Nizhny Novgorod Aircraft Building Plant "Sokol" has its
very own air museum that very few people know about. If you'd like,
you can spend time after your flight touring this facility and viewing
the exhibits.
